Each of the 90 cards in the card game outlines a specific skill or activity needed for Postsecondary
Education Training (PET), Employment (E),
and/or Independent Living (IL) with
both words and graphics.
As you go through the cards with
the student, sorting the cards
according to skill mastery, the
student can quickly see what
he/she has accomplished as
well as what they need to
work on. The stack of cards that
indicate skill mastery (green stack) can be used as present levels of performance for the IEP or transition plan. The stack of cards that indicate a lack of skill mastery (red stack) can be further sorted by skill area (PET, E, IL) and transferred to the IEP and transition plan for further work and development..
